We all love classic cars, whether it’s from the early days of automobiles, to the 90s, from the land of Uncle Sam, to land of the rising sun. Saying that, we sure the 5th Automobile Council event in Japan does catch our hearts.
Starting from 2016, this is the 5th show they have held in Makuhari Messe, an Exhibition Hall located in Chiba.
This event is all about antique car shows, ranging from pre-war to post war cars. Apparently most of the cars in the show were for sale, with some of them being priced high, like the Chevrolet C1 Corvette and the Aston Martin Vantage V550. We mean of course, they’re just stunning and beautiful, heck, we even sure someone will buy them even when they’re equipped with 24" chromy.
The beauty of an Aston Martin is simply ASTONishing, and the glorious shapes of the american classic is undeniably beautiful.
So, you can either come to the show and enjoy seeing the classic cars, or buy the cars displayed in the show. (sadly it’s not quite possible for us at the moment to do the second option).
It's not only classic cars though, McLaren, Honda, Nissan, and Mazda, came to the event to showcase their latest new cars.
Our Japan journalist favorite car in the event was the Zenki (Pre-Facelift) Mazda RX-7 Type RZ. especially because it’s black and it got BBS, the zenki is just a better one in his opinion.
The FD is just truly beautiful, it's so simple yet so eyecatching.
We can talk about this event all day long. But, we just gonna let the pictures speak for itself
The FB, and it's in a really immaculate conditions, just look at that fabric!
The start of a rotary era, the Cosmo 110s.
It has always been the answer since day 1.
Toyotas game is too strong for us! Just amazing!
Woop! The boys from Stuttgart are here!
It's just... jawdropping, truly a racecar for the road, the F40.
This event is just too much.
Ahh yes, the GTR, and the grandson of course.
The French S14, sort of.
We sure they're really comfortable thanks to Citroen advanced suspension system.
The Beat, the OG Beat.
Some bois from Hiroshima.
There is just something about Land Rovers, it's like a love hate relationship.
Aaaannnddd.. that's about it folks! We sure we did miss a thing or two but that's the 5th Automobile Council from Japan, in pictures. Cheers!
